Weapons Threat, 11 September 2018
Unalaska, AK – On September 10th, UDPS received a credible report that a local resident had made threats to harm two people as well as the occupants of a local organization. The suspect was arrested by officers shortly after the report was received, and has been charged with four felonies and a misdemeanor. Several firearms were located in the house at which he was arrested. UDPS recognizes that incidents such as this can create anxiety in the community. We are coordinating with the victims and the District Attorney regarding victim safety concerns and proposed conditions of release for the suspect. We wish to thank those who came forward with this information for their recognition of the threat and subsequent prompt action.
