Museum of the Aleutians

The Museum of the Aleutians is a cultural history museum with exhibitions showcasing the history of the Aleutians. The Museum opened its doors in 1999 with the mission to collect, preserve, and share the rich cultural legacy of the Aleutian Islands Region. The museum hosts an actively growing collection of artifacts covering Unangax̂, Russian, American, WWII, and local history. The museum's galleries provide an engaging experience for guests with both permanent and changing exhibits. Visitors may also choose to book a driving, walking, or gallery tour from the museum for a guided Unalaska experience.
