Passenger Transportation
Aleutian Airways provides commercial passenger service with direct flights between Unalaska and Anchorage. The charter companies of which we are aware are Dena’ina Air Transit, Security Aviation, Alaska Air Transit, Anchorage Aero, and Ace Cargo. See the links below. The City of Unalaska makes no recommendation about these charter companies and has no agreements with them.
There is also a Facebook Group titled “Unalaska Plane Charter Coordination” where members provide information about charters.
The Alaska Marine Ferry, M.V. Tustumena is making one stop per month in Unalaska between early June and late September, transporting both vehicles and passengers. Visit the Alaska Marine Highway System website for information about booking a passage, rates, and schedules.
Once on the island, there are two options for vehicle rentals as well as many taxi cab services.
