Release Conditions—Officers observed an individual who was known to be on Conditions of Release in a local liquor establishment. After contacting the individual it was found that their conditions only stated that they were not to consume alcohol. The individual did not display signs of alcohol impairment or consumption and was allowed to leave. It was later discovered the individual may have more conditions. Officers are currently investigating.

DUI—Officers observed a driver speeding and driving erratically. During the traffic stop, officers discovered the driver to be under the influence of alcohol. Jose Camilo Alfaro, 40 yoa, was ultimately arrested and charged with DUI.

Taxi Violation—Officers responded to a report of taxis parked in front of the doors of a local business. Upon contacting the employees of the business, it was found that the taxis were indeed not supposed to park where they were, however there was no official signage reflecting this. Officers will be attempting to contact the manager of the business to notify them of this issue.

Welfare Check—Officers performed a Welfare Check on an individual who had called 911, but did not relay any information. The 911 caller eventually re-contacted the station to relay that all was well, and that their child had been playing with the phone.

Theft—Officers spoke with an individual who had reported that their home had been broken into and their personal check book had been stolen. The thief had stolen approximately $25,000 dollars from the victim’s personal bank accounts. Officers are currently investigating.

Domestic Disturbance—Officers responded to a report of a possible Domestic Violence issue in progress. Upon arrival, it was found that the one who had reported the incident was extremely intoxicated, and that no actual crime had been committed. The two parties separated for the night.

MVA-Damage—Officers responded to a report of a minor motor vehicle accident at one of the local liquor establishments. No injuries were reported. The driver of the offending vehicle was ultimately cited for Limitations on Backing. Damages were estimated at around $250.

Suspicious Person/Activity—Caller reported 3 individuals standing outside local warehouse for over an hour.  It was reported that their behavior and location seemed suspicious.  Officers responded and did not see anybody in the area; Officers conducted a security check of the building to ensure there were no signs of forced entry.

Assistance Rendered—Officers contacted several highly intoxicated and unruly Airport patrons who were denied access to their scheduled flight.  Due to a few of the individuals being too intoxicated for public consumption, responsible parties were contacted to care for them.

Traffic Roads—Officers responded to a report of a white pickup truck parked across the middle of a residential street.  Upon contact, vehicle owner stated that he had contacted a friend to help him move the vehicle out of the roadway.  At the request of Officers, he decided to utilize his keys to turn the vehicle on and drive it out of the roadway.

Traffic Roads—Caller reported that extremely bright lights were shining in the roadway at the beginning of the S-Curves.  Officers contacted a representative from the business responsible for the lights; the light was re-directed so that it wasn’t hitting the roadway.

Welfare Check—Officers conducted a welfare check on an individual who was standing outside the Library waiting for it to open; the subject stated that he was cold and that he should be let into the Library because he has Diabetes.  Officer was able to ascertain that no medical assistance was needed and the subject was deemed “okay.”

Drunk Disturbance—Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated male who had just urinated in the lobby of the Airport, was being loud, and was now lying on the floor.   Officers contacted the individual, after speaking with Airport management, it was decided that it was okay for the subject to sleep on a bench at the Airport as he had nowhere to go.

Suspicious Person/Activity—Walk-in spoke to an Officer about his neighbor having a large amount of traffic in his driveway during the week and the neighbor’s car engine being extremely loud.  Additionally, subject was upset that his neighbors’ dog keeps defecating in his yard.  It was requested that Officers increase patrols in the area.

Criminal Mischief—Caller reported that his vehicle has been egged… AGAIN!  Officers responded and found out that his was the 5th time the complainant’s vehicle had been egged.  Officers took photographs of the vehicle and also observed that it had a flat tire.  Complainant stated that the flat tire was new and must have been done by the eggers.  Two possible suspects have been identified.
