11/20/16 Sun 1012 Warrant Arrest – Chad Hoefer, 46 yoa, arrested on authority of an Unalaska Bench Warrant for FTA for Commercial Fish Size violation.
11/20/16 Sun 1305 Assistance Rendered – Officers assisted in unlocking a vehicle in which the keys had been locked.
11/20/16 Sun 1448 Assistance Rendered - Officers assisted in unlocking a vehicle in which the keys had been locked.
11/20/16 Sun 1759 Assist Other Agency – Officer conducted a license premise inspection for two local restaurants.
11/20/16 Sun 1759 Assistance Rendered – Officers responded to a report of a mutiny aboard a vessel tied at the dock. Investigation revealed that a new captain had been fired for his inability to run the vessel in a safe manner and was upset at being disrespected by the vessel’s owner. No criminal activity was discovered.
11/20/16 Sun 1912 Trespass – Officers assisted in issuing a trespass order to the former captain of a vessel from his former vessel.

11/21/16 Mon 1310 Drunk Disturbance – An officer assisted with an extremely drunken individual. The individual’s level of intoxication was such that he was unable to communicate yet he was uncooperative and combative. He was eventually transported to the clinic for a medical evaluation.

11/21/16 Mon 1354 Ambulance Request – EMS responded to a report of an individual suffering from possible alcohol poisoning.
11/21/16 Mon 1407 Assistance Rendered – Officer assisted with a medical call.
11/21/16 Mon 1536 Civil Paper Services All – Ysabel Santiago, 31 yoa, served a summons for Obtaining an Access Device by Fraudulent Means and Theft of Services.
11/21/16 Mon 1635 Suspicious Person/Activity – Officers assisted an individual who feared retaliation from the Bloods, Crips, and Hells Angels. The individual was unable to articulate any rational reason why he would be the target of these groups. The officer searched the surrounding areas and was unable to locate anything to support the caller’s fears.
11/21/16 Mon 1659 Assistance Rendered - Officers assisted in unlocking a vehicle in which the keys had been locked.
11/21/16 Mon 1836 MVA-Damage – Officers investigated a minor fender bender accident.
11/21/16 Mon 1912 Animal – Caller reported a dead fox in the roadway. Officers responded and cleared the carcass from the roadway.
11/21/16 Mon 1959 Suspicious Person/Activity – Caller reported some miscellaneous items on the side of the road. An officer moved the items from the roadway so as to assure they were not a hazard to passing traffic.
11/21/16 Mon 2054 Impound – Officers impounded a vehicle and had it towed to the Impound Lot.
11/21/16 Mon 2320 Welfare Check – Caller reported seeing vehicle tail lights at a strange location on the hillside. An officer responded and was unable to locate any vehicles in the reported area.
11/21/16 Mon 2323 Suspicious Person/Activity – Caller reported seeing a distress flare that may have landed on the tundra and be smoldering. No vessels were found to be in distress and the flare was not found.
11/22/16 Tue 0735 Traffic Roads – Caller reported a vehicle broken down in an area that blocked access to his business. The responsible person for the vehicle was contacted and arrangements were made to move the vehicle.
11/22/16 Tue 0920 Assistance Rendered – Fire Officers assisted a stranded motorist in removing his vehicle from the roadway.
11/22/16 Tue 0943 Welfare Check – Individual reported a small child walking around unattended. Investigation showed that the child was not unattended.

11/22/16 Tue 2329 Drunk Disturbance – Officers assisted a drunken individual determine which hotel room was his as he could not remember his room number or the name of the person that rented the room for him. Officers were able to find the correct room.

11/23/16 Wed 1245 Assistance Rendered – Caller reported several problem vehicles parked in an inconvenient location. The problem apparently solved itself prior to officer’s arrival.
11/23/16 Wed 1650 Fire Safety – Caller reported a large fire pit burning without a permit. Investigation revealed that there was a valid permit and the burners were in compliance.
11/23/16 Wed 2051 Assist Other Agency – Officer assisted in the destruction of the contents of the medical drop box at Public Safety.
11/23/16 Wed 2332 Liquor Law Violation – Officer assisted in advising a drunken individual that he could not be on a licensed premise in his current condition.
11/24/16 Thu 0805 Ambulance Request – EMS responded to assist a person with a broken ankle.
11/24/16 Thu 1725 Public Safety – A high wind watch was put into effect in Unalaska. Southwest winds of 50 to 65 MPH with gusts to 80 MPH are expected.
11/25/16 Fri 0155 Assistance Rendered – Officers assisted two individuals in finding their way back to the hotel.
11/25/16 Fri 0732 Ambulance Request – EMS responded to assist a person with a broken ankle.

11/25/16 Fri 1339 Animal – Officer encountered a wet, muddy, and apparently lost dog. The dog’s owner was notified and collected the animal.
11/26/16 Sat 0615 Public Safety – A Category 1 travel advisory issued due to high winds.
11/26/16 Sat 0647 Environmental – Officers assisted in alleviating numerous wind hazards throughout Unalaska.
11/26/16 Sat 0937 Environmental – Caller reported a 2-Story play house had been blown apart by the wind and debris was flying around. The owner of the play house took what measures he could to prevent the debris from causing any damage.
11/26/16 Sat 1111 Noise Disturbance – Caller reported a loud vehicle with no muffler was waking her up every morning. The vehicle’s owner was contacted and advised to get a muffler.
11/26/16 Sat 1124 Environmental – Caller reported a warehouse had lost its door and roof to the wind. The responsible party for the warehouse was advised.
