Energy Audits for Commercial Buildings

SWAMC Energy Audit

Energy Audits Available

What is an energy audit? An energy audit evaluates your energy use and provides measures you can do to reduce your energy use and improve your business’s energy efficiency.

Who is eligible? Small businesses with commercial buildings or facilities in the Aleutians, Bristol Bay, or Kodiak regions. This includes but is not limited to: stores, hotels and lodges, restaurants, multi-family residences, commercial fishing vessels, and privately-owned offices.

What are the benefits? If retrofits are completed, potentially thousands of dollars in savings per year. With the audit, you may also be eligible for USDA’s REAP grant, which covers 25% of the retrofit cost for small businesses!

How do I register? See attached flyer for registration steps.

How much would an audit cost? The program offers commercial building owners a 60% to 75% reduction in the cost of an audit. The estimated amount a building owner would pay varies by building size and type of audit. Check out the pricing table in the attached flyer and contact us for a quote at [email protected].

When is the deadline? We'll set a date once we have a minimum of 3 buildings in Unalaska registered. Audits will continue until all funds are spent.  WE ARE PLANNING A TRIP FOR SEPTEMBER OR OCTOBER 2018.  Don’t wait - register now!
