HOW TO APPLY FOR A COMMITTEE OR COMMISSION
Application forms are available at the City Clerk's Office in City Hall and at the link below. Please submit completed applications to the Clerk's Office in City Hall (43 Raven Way, Unalaska) or by mail to:

Qualifications to serve vary, but the most important qualifications are interest and a willingness to serve.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
You will be considered for the Committee or Commission for which you indicated interest as vacancies occur.
Vacancies occur throughout the year, and applications are accepted at any time.
Terms on Committees and Commissions expires on February 14th of each year.
Applications are held for one year for consideration.
The Mayor appoints members to Committees and Commission and submits the applicant’s name to the City Council for confirmation.
The Mayor and City Council seek to have broad representation from throughout the community, so in making appointments they consider many factors.
Applications are always welcome, and applicants should not feel discouraged if they are not quickly appointed. If you hear of a vacancy in which you are interested, it is suggested you call to remind the City Clerk's Office that you have an application on file.
