2-Day Meeting
Re: Marine Navigational Improvements
SEPTEMBER 21 & 22, 2016
8am to 5pm
Unalaska City Hall, 43 Raven Way
The Alaska District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be conducting a 2-day meeting in Unalaska to investigate potential marine navigation related improvements. This is a joint effort with the City of Unalaska who is a non-Federal cost-sharing partner for the study. The goal of the meeting is to bring together as many people as possible to discuss navigation issues. If you have suggestions or concerns related to potential navigation improvements in the region, it would be appropriate to voice them at this meeting. During the meeting we plan to reach consensus on navigation related problems in the region as well as identify potential opportunities and objectives to address those problems. As a group, we will identify preliminary navigation related alternative plans for further investigation. Your input to this process could be very beneficial and we encourage your participation.
