Sealed Bids for the City of Unalaska GENERALS HILL WATER PRESSURE BOOSTER PUMP STATION PROJECT, addressed to the City of Unalaska, will be received at the following location:

Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m., local time on March 9, 2021 and then will be publicly opened and read aloud. To attend the Bid Opening telephonically, dial 1-888-204-5984, access code 2005439. Bids can be delivered to the City Clerk during normal business hours. Pick up the phone in the vestuble to notify the Clerk of your arrival and a staff member will come out and accept the bid documents. Any bids received after the time and date specified will not be considered. 

The work will include, but not be limited to, furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, and materials and performing all operations in connection with the GENERALS HILL WATER PRESSURE BOOSTER PUMP STATION PROJECT. The Work includes construction of a concrete vault with piping, pumps, valves, electrical, controls, and appurtenances necessary to boost domestic water pressures to serve a high elevation zone in the City’s municipal water distribution system.

Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by submittal information as prescribed in the Instruction to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the necessary bond(s) for the faithful performance of the Contract, as prescribed in the Bidding Documents.

A PreBid Conference will be held on February 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the City of Unalaska Department of Public Works. The PreBid Conference may be attended by teleconference at 1-888- 204-5984, Access Code 2005439.

The successful Bidder shall hold such Contractors and Business Licenses as required by State Statutes and City of Unalaska Municipal Code Section 9.04. The right is reserved to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities or irregularities in the bidding, and to accept bids that are considered to be in the best interest of the City of Unalaska.

No bidder may withdraw its bid after the time set for opening thereof, unless the award of the contract is delayed for a period exceeding 60 days.
