Counterfeiting Operation

Counterfeiting Operation, 13 December 2016
Unalaska, AK – Two men, Henry M. Zablan and Nicholas T. Hough, were arrested over the weekend in connection with a counterfeiting operation. Officers initially received information about phony US currency while investigating another crime, and obtained search warrants for both Zablan’s and Hough’s residences. Counterfeiting supplies as well as some forged US currency in $10, $20 and $100 denominations were found in Zablan’s residence.
This is an ongoing investigation, and additional information is being sought. Persons who believe they may be in possession of counterfeit funds are urged to contact UDPS.
