The Unalaska Public Library is pleased to offer books for all ages, both fiction and non-fiction. You'll find books in various categories including adult fiction and non-fiction; books for children and teens; bestsellers; reference and educational sections; as well as movies and televisions shows on DVD and VHS.

The Unalaska City Library offers computers for internet access as well as WIFI for the community free of charge. Computer use is limited to 30 minutes per person, per session, during peak time or when there are other patrons waiting. There is no time limit during slow periods of use. If you are asked to relinquish your computer you may sign up for another session depending on availability. You must wait until the end of your session to sign up for a new session if other patrons are waiting.

This Children's Reading Area, as the name suggests, is specifically for use by children. There is a regular Story Time and craft program on Fridays from 4-5:00 p.m. Additionally, our Summer Reading Program promotes library use through incentives, contests, and special programs.

The Unalaska Public Library conference room is great area to meat in a formal setting .The Room is equipped with video conferencing equipment and Internet access, with, Projector Screen and TV, VHS, DVD player. The conference room is available for a rental fee of $20 per hour and at no charge for local non-profit groups. The conference room is available to local businesses and groups for training, education and interviewing.

The Ray Hudson Room is intended for serious study and research. The room contains Alaska reference materials, non-circulating books, newspapers such as the Bristol Bay Times and Dutch Harbor Fisherman on microfilm, and maps.
